We offer a complete set of soil coring equipment, manufactured according to long term experience and field approved. Sets include: 110 cm long soil corer with replaceable crown (hardened metal tip), an extra crown, a handle to pull the corer out, a plastic pusher to extract the soil sample after sampling and broom to clean the inside . A unique, most robust, vibration absorbing drive head is used to drive the corer into the soil utilising a soft-head hammer. Soil samples can be removed easily because the crown has a slightly smaller inner diameter compared to the tube. The whole set is delivered in a practical carrying case. Every part can be ordered separately and crowns are field replaceable. The auger diameter, length etc. can be adapted to needs e.g. allowing to use them for tight minirhizotron tube installation. Standard diameter is an inner crown diameter of 72 mm, and an inner diameter of the soil corer of 76 mm) . Crowns can be hardened to different degrees to fit different soil conditions.
